Making memories last a lifetime.
My name is Rachel (Donnelly) Ipsan and I am the sole owner and proprietor of Celebrate Life Videos. I originally thought of the idea after losing my dad, my sister, and a best friend. I wanted to pay homage to them in a celebratory way – not a sad, somber way. I wanted to tell a story about their life. Provide a special look into their personality that could be passed on for years. Grandkids who would never have known them, felt they had after viewing their life on video. Although I started out doing funeral videos and then got asked to do wedding videos, event-type videos, and the like, my real passion lies in Life Stories. I originally thought of this concept because of my uncle. He is 100% Irish and has so many wonderful stories growing up with my dad...stories we never got on tape with my dad, but stories I didn’t want our family to lose. My uncle is the last survivor from his immediate family. When my son is old enough to truly appreciate his heritage, I want him to hear these stories from my uncle’s lips. After taping my uncle and pulling all of the stories together, my siblings and I realized how little we knew about my dad’s side of the family. It was interesting on so many levels. I think “The Greatest Generation” has so much to bring to our generation. From the world they grew up in to the here-and-now and all of their knowledge in-between. What sets me apart from others is my true commitment to capture important moments. I want a story to be told. I want to feel as if I know the individual or individuals and will do all I can to capture their spirit or the spirit of the event. I want members to feel a part of the finished product, so I take the time to meet with and assist in picking out music, pictures, and offer creative suggestions. Often times, people want to be totally surprised and have me do everything from start-to-finish and then really enjoy the finished product viewing it with close friends and family. The bottom line is I want a unique video done for you that’s always going to bring a smile, a laugh, and a tear to your eye.
